A natural food for omnivorous and carnivorous fish. Bloodworm (Chironomidae larvae) is very eagerly eaten by fish, and is a source of easily-assimilable protein. Because fresh or frozen bloodworm can be a source of dangerous pathogens, we use a freeze-drying technique which effectively eliminates a number of substances which may cause various diseases, but retains delicate vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, proteins, and other valuable substances. This makes Red Mico an exceptional natural food for ornamental fish. You can feed freeze-dried bloodworm in its dried form or soak it in water beforehand.
